A steel structure slaughterhouse is a prefabricated, industrial-grade building designed for livestock/poultry slaughter, dressing, and primary processing. It uses light or heavy steel frames as the main structure, with corrosion-resistant, easy-to-clean enclosures and finishes, complying with strict food safety and biosecurity standards.
Core Structure & Materials
Main Frame: Hot-dip galvanized H-beams, C/Z purlins, and bolted connections; design life 50+ years, seismic resistance 7–8 degrees, wind resistance up to 300 km/h.
Roof & Walls: EPS/PU/PIR sandwich panels (50–100 mm) for insulation; exterior metal sheets (galvanized/aluminum) for corrosion resistance.
Interior Finishes:
Floor: Epoxy-coated concrete (2.5% slope) with stainless steel drains.
Walls: 304 stainless steel panels (1.2 mm) up to 3.5 m; upper part with food-grade PVC-coated panels.
Corners: R50 mm rounded to eliminate hygiene dead zones.
